Pete has been a professional musician since he was teenager. For many years, music went alongside a “proper job”, but these days Pete is a full time working musician, exclusively devoting his time and effort to his love of music, performing and recording.
Starting early, with his fist live appearance on stage with his Dad’s band at the age of 11, Pete has performed with a variety of acts over the years, including a cabaret style 70s disco band, local pub bands, guitar & vocal duos, and for the past 15 years, as the lead singer and guitarist with the hugely popular band “Slapdash Trio”, but Pete always enjoys the relaxed and informal setting of his his acoustic solo act the most. Equally at home on any size stage, from Glastonbury Festival to small pubs, big clubs, weddings and parties, Pete brings the same energy, professionalism and commitment to every single gig.
His Solo sets include a selection of acoustic covers of popular songs from across the decades - There’s something for everyone. From the Beatles to the Foo Fighters, via Chris Stapleton, Elton John, Paul Simon and 10cc, with some ELO, Eric Clapton, Bill Withers and James Taylor thrown in for good measure, each set is different as Pete reads the room and picks the perfect song for the perfect atmosphere.
